West Coast aviation fuel is unusually well stocked even as the tank fills draw down at a brisk clip. Kerosene-type jet fuel across PADD 5, the district's aviation fuel warranted at its terminals, sits at 11.1 MM bbl as of 2026-08-21, the 96th percentile of the 37-year record. The trailing 8-report change ranks at the 14 percentile of all such stretches, among the faster drains on record; but a fast draw from so deep a pile leaves it deep still.
